It is very unlikely that we are going home. They tried Jackson (again) without fluids and he reacted the same was flat, lethargic could barely lift his head. and his BP dropped down to 60. so he was put on IVT fluids last night and he responded great so it is clear that he needs the extra volume it may only be about the size of a can of pop over 24hrs but the difference is unreal.

The doctor today said that there are certain children who are outside the ‘normal’ for fluid intake some are sensitive to less fluid (Jax) some are sensitive to high fluids. obviously Jackson doesnt follow the guidelines! so where do we go from here. well we cant put the extra fluid through his jej as he doesn’t tolerate it. is stomach isn’t emptying so we cant use his peg
